Palm Island Resort is a unique vacation hideaway on the west coast of Florida located South of Tampa/St. Petersburg between Sarasota and Fort Myers. The resort offers 100 privately owned villas in “Old Florida” style architecture on a 2-mile stretch of pristine natural beachfront which is accessible only by boat or car ferry. When you drive off the car ferry or tie up at our docks, it’s an unmistakable feeling of relaxation as you approach Palm Island Resort. Leave your car and worries in the parking lot as the bell hop transports you to our unit by golf cart. A soothing coastal setting beckons from inside our villa as you enter our paradisiacal second home. Our unit is a very well appointed overlooking tennis courts and beautiful sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico. We have had a number of renters return consecutively for 10 years. We go down as often as possible, because it truly is our little piece of heaven. You may arrive by boat to keep in a slip directly behind our unit nestled in the mangroves with a direct route to the Intracoastal Waterway just minutes away. The beach is virtually deserted with tons of sea shells and pre-historic sharks teeth. We have a King sized bed in the Master, two twins in the guest room and a queen sized pull-out couch. You will surely want to return time and time again!
