5 Bedroom, 2 Bath house in the middle of the Austria Alps in a valley close to Italy. It is equipped with wooden furniture and beds in Austrian style. The house is not modern but a more traditional Austrian style. Close to mountains for hiking trip in the summer (you can start hiking at our house) or skiing in the winter (several skiing areas are in 30-40 min drive area). Venice is about 90-120 min drive from there. Salzburg is 2 hour drive. The most amazing thing about the area are the Alps, at least for us. Since this is on the South side of the Alps, you have the Adriatic weather pattern. The house is in a small village, but walking distance are a large supermarket, a coffee shop and a restaurant. The railway station is about 400m away, so you can even take the train for trips. However, we recommend having a car as some of the sights in the area (e.g. a lake called Weissensee where there is fantastic swimming) is best reached by car.
