Walk everywhere, or take the bus at the door or subways one block away. We have one king-sized bed, but someone could sleep on the couch or an aerobed. We are retired academics who love to travel, read and write. Marty was a college administrator, Naomi an English prof. and writer. We spend our summers at our log cabin on a lake in New Jersey. Marty hates the cold, so we exchange for someplace warm every winter. Chelsea is now the heart of NY's art scene with galleries galore, great restaurants and shopping. We're walking distance to Greenwich Village, the Chelsea Piers sports complex on the Hudson River, the theater district and many museums, and only a short bus or subway ride from everything else. It is, in short, an ideal New York City location.
