Located in Elwood, a trendy bayside suburb of Melbourne, the events capital of Australia and regularly voted as one of the world easiest cities to live in. Catch a game of cricket at the famous MCG or one of the many theatre or international events that Melbourne runs non-stop. Victoria is an incredibly diverse state of Australia. Port Melbourne (5km from Elwood) is also the departure point for the overnight ferry to pristine Tasmania. And, with competitive airfares you can purchase an online ticket to Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane or Cairns. Back in Elwood our quaint cottage is an original of the street, built around 1900 in a quiet friendly cul-de-sac only a few minutes walk from Port Phillip Bay. Along the bay you can take leisurely strolls or bike rides along a well crafted beachside footpath, enjoy coffee at Sails café or even take a boat out and often meet our local dolphins. (We are very familiar with the dolphins of Kealakekua Bay!) We are also a five minute stroll from the local high street where cafes, organic grocer, restaurants, supermarket and wine shop can all be found. The suburb of Elwood was originally an artists' colony and the flavour of budding writers, artists and actors is very much a part of its community. Elwood is a 10 – 20 minute drive from all major areas of Melbourne.
